CARMA FOUNDATION

Carma Shoe Program

In 2008 when it seemed like the island nation of Haiti could not get a break from a devastating hurricane season. The Carma Foundation went to Haiti To deliver tons of food, medical supplies and a very important item SHOES . We know that many diseases are transferred through the soles of the feet.

So one of the first projects the Carma Foundation embarked on was putting a pair of shoes on the feet of all of the children in Haiti. Working closely with the non-profit leg of “Crocs” and performing shoe drives Became a staple initiative of our work. As a result, we have successfully delivered over 70,000 pairs of shoes to people in need and we have personally put shoes on the feet of men, women, and children in Haiti, Guyana, Miami, and Newark, New Jersey.
